My name is Branko Ajzele. I was born on January 16th, 1983.

I’ve been working with web technologies for the last few years, started somewhere around 2003. My start was that of a Web designer where my main tool was Adobe Photoshop. Later, around 2005, I switched to programming aka development, and I’m enjoying my self ever since.

Most of my development jobs until the year 2008 was a freelance, since my regular job was that of IT Administrator. Although not closely related, working as an IT Administrator gave me a deeper view on clients software problems and wishes. Considering the fact that more and more applications are getting web oriented, getting to know what users expect form the application was a positive insight for me. Starting from year 2008 I got more involved in every day development.

I like programming cause there is so many things to do, to learn; it never gets boring. And for now, I’m not afraid of learning new things. It’s what drives me forward. My favorite technologies are the ones described as open source. I like the idea of software being open and free. That way one can always make money providing services.

Favorite programming languages so far PHP (off course), JavaScript and C# (although not open source). I enjoy working with Wordpress, and Magento; skinning, theme and plugin development. They provide excellent platform for business web. In a long run I see my self in e-commerce, community and standard compliant web application development or some management position closely related to those three.
