The values for the method getAttributeUsedForSortByArray() are declared in (around line 310):

app/code/core/Mage/Catalog/Model/Config.php

Make sure to copy file to app/code/local/Mage/Catalog/Model before modifying.

this article was for 1.1.6, magento is now 1.3 something.

you can still change the $this_availableOrder like it says here, but ive ran into a problem where i think toolbar.phtml is using getAvailableOrders() from Toolbar.php in core instead of local… i could be wrong, just try it anyway.

i didn't find this code($this->_availableOrder = array(..) ) in the constructor of toolba.php.i found this code

$this->_availableOrder = $this->_getConfig()->getAttributeUsedForSortByArray();

any idea.please do tell me

Hi Branko, i’m using magento 1.3.2.1 version and i’m new to that.I wants to set grid column count 3 to 2.that is my task and I did some changes on app/design/frontend/default/default/template/catalog/list.phtml file. Now my grid showing products only on 2 columns but still there is a one empty column. I need to avoid that column also. I’m asking that how can I avoid that column. I’m waiting for your good answer for my problem as soon as possible.
